Managing Partner, Nikiki T. Bogle, Esq. elected President of the
Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association
April 10, 2007, Boston, MA - Managing Partner, Nikiki T. Bogle, Esq.
was sworn in as President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers
Association, for the 2007-2008 year! The Massachusetts Black Lawyers
Association (MBLA) is New England’s premier minority bar organization.
Founded in 1973, the MBLA has served as the primary minority bar
association in the commonwealth. The MBLA reaches out to at least
400 minority lawyers throughout Massachusetts.
"I am deeply honored to serve in this historic organization. I welcome
this wonderful opportunity to work with MBLA leaders and members to
perform much-needed volunteer service. We will continue to perform
public service in under-served areas by helping to foster mentorships,
education outreach and volunteer work in schools and organizations
throughout communities in the commonwealth."
Ms. Bogle chairs the Entertainment, Business Immigration and Criminal
Law Practice Groups at Bogle & Chang, LLC. She is an experienced
litigator with extensive criminal trial experience. Prior to law firm practice,
she was an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District
Attorney's Office in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a Point
Prosecutor for Child Abuse, Domestic Violence and Identity Fraud,
in Boston's busiest courts. Ms. Bogle was also an Assistant Attorney
General in the Office of Attorney General, Criminal Division, in
Wilmington, Delaware. As a criminal prosecutor, she conducted over
100 trials before both juries and judges.
She earned her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington
University Law School in Washington, DC and is a Phi Beta Kappa
graduate of The Florida State University. She was awarded her
Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in both International Affairs and
Political Science.
